MICHAEL Holding, without fear of contradiction, is one of the greatest fast bowlers who has ever played Test cricket. A Jamaican by birth, he rose from being a schoolboy cricketer at Kingston College, to play for Melbourne Cricket Club and Jamaica, before he became a force to be reckoned with on the world stage.
